Alonzo Mourning and Earvin “Magic” Johnson REINTRODUCE, with much class and competition, the 5th Annual ZO & MAGIC’S 8-BALL CHALLENGE in DALLAS.

Once more, this exclusive "invite-only" affair will bring together the best of the sports and entertainment community to compete, collaborate, and care for two great causes whose mission is to positively change lives - Alonzo Mourning Charities and the Magic Johnson Foundation.

Proceeds will also benefit the Tom Joyner Foundation. The Tom Joyner Foundation is a 501c3 not for profit charity charged with the mission of supporting historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s).  Since their inception in 1998, the Foundation has donated over $60 million in scholarship and sustainability aid to HBCU's, resulting in over 10,000 scholarships to over 100 HBCU's.

DON'T PLAY POOL?

In addition to the tournament, invited guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, virtual games, sounds by guest DJ IRIE, a chance at winning great raffle and unique silent auction items, experience products and services provided by our partners for your enjoyment and a gift bag upon departure.

THE CHALLENGE

ZO & MAGIC’S 8-BALL CHALLENGE pits 32 teams of two against each other for a round robin “win or go home” 8-ball game. Referees from the Billiards Congress of America oversee the tournament and throughout the evening celebrities, athletes, entertainers and corporate partners go head to head battling for the grand prize, valued at over $10,000 in addition to “bragging rights.” Most importantly, the event raises funds for charity and highlights the sports and entertainment community’s dedication to giving back. Limited team slots are sold first come/first served basis.
